Tandi's Forest
Lighthouse Reserve, Sydney
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WOOLLAHRA COUNCIL, 30 OCT 2022
'As part of a promise to build community in Tandi’s name, seven months after her passing friends and family were invited to share a ritual of planting – a tree rite. Together the group planted over a thousand locally sourced indigenous tube stock including trees, shrubs and grasses to regenerate the lighthouse reserve wildlife corridor in Vaucluse. Collectively the group restored a rich habitat for native birds, and created a new space for gathering and contemplation in Tandi’s name. Ceremony, word, friendship and being were the essence of this special day. 'Creating a new space for both physical and metaphysical growth, is a beautiful way to ensure Tandi's legacy reverberates and inspires.' Tal Rapke
