About

For centuries and across cultures, communities have marked significant moments within the vast expanse of human experience through tree planting. The birth of a child, the death of a loved one, marriages, birthdays and anniversaries are just some of the events that punctuate our lives. Planting trees to commemorate these events affirm our experiences, connect us to one another, and entwine our own lives with the long life of a flourishing, living tree.

Through the regenerative act of tree planting, in this time of global climate crisis, significant life moments have the potential to ripen into celebrations of hope and environmental healing and repair. As we gather in community, we support human life, the earth, and every creature living within it.
